Fencers must be members of a High School team and members of USA Fencing. Members of teams in the team events must be from the same high school and competitive members of USA Fencing. Individual events will be pools with 100% promoted to DEs.

TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT April 6, 2019 Venue: Fencing Institute of Texas, Inc. 1000 West Crosby Road, Suite 134 Carrollton, Texas 75006 (972) 242-0399 Fencers must be members of a High School team and members of USA Fencing. Individual events will be pools with 100% promoted to Direct Eliminations. Team events will be 15-touch relays. Teams are comprised of 3 fencers from the same High School program. Registration Closing Times: 0900 Men’s Individual Foil 1000 Women’s Individual Foil 1300 Men’s Foil Teams (1PM) 1400 Women’s Foil Teams (2PM)
  • Please arrive one hour prior to close of registration to ensure you have all paperwork completed, weapons checked and warm up.
Fees:
    $10 per individual event $30 per team ($10/team member)
Awards:
  • Individual Events: Top four fencers (1st, 2nd, and two 3rd place winners, no fence off for third)
  • Team Events: The three fencers on the first and second place teams will receive medals.
Equipment Check Students, you should ensure you have working equipment that will pass safety checks before you come to the tournament. At the tournament, you will be required to have your equipment checked by the Armorers. Lunch and other items: There are several restaurants and fast food restaurants in the surrounding area; however, none within walking distance. Please bring water, Gatorade, and any snacks or other food you will need for the tournament. Tournament foods should be something small like energy bars, grapes, other fruits, crackers, protein, etc..
