The Epic Donut Challenge is a an opportunity for fencers who currently compete regionally or are hoping to begin competing regionally.

A great opportunity for those who are beginning to compete regionally to gain more competition experience. All participants will receive a donut!


Registration Fee ($5):

  • This time, we ask that everybody pays the $5 registration fees. Fees go to compensating junior referees for their time and efforts (and the purchase of donuts!).



Event fees ($20):

Who pays?

  • Non-Members
  • Members who want to!
  • Open-Bouting Members
  • Class Members that don't have class Saturday
  • Class Members that have exceeded their # of classes per the week

Who doesn't pay?

  • Epic Intro to Fencing Participants
  • Unlimited Class Members
  • Class Members counting the event towards one of their weekly classes


Below is the schedule of events:

*We are constantly tweaking this event to provide the most Epic experience. We have arranged the times so that:

  1. We can have a potluck for Chinese New Year
  2. Youth fencers who want to do more than one event, can!
  3. We encourage the more experienced fencers to try a second event. This is something they'll do a lot in their fencing careers. For those that aren't ready, we will play a fencing-themed movie in the boardroom while they wait for the potluck!


Schedule:

  • 9am: Y8 Foil
  • 9am: Y12 Foil
  • 10:30 Y10 Foil
  • 10:30 Y14 Epee
  • 12pm: Potluck - Sign up please!!
  • 1pm: Mixed Team Epee and Mixed Team Foil*

*All Epic Fencers 12 and older are encouraged to join the team event
