The SoCal Youth Challenge sabre events are open to all fencers regardless of rating. Preregister here or sign-up at the door. The cost is $20 per event and all fees are payable at the door.
The SoCal Youth Challenge sabre events are open to all fencers regardless of rating. No weapons classifications will be awarded. Preregister here or sign up at the door and the cost is $20 per event. All entry fees are payable at the door. Events Scheduled: Y14 Mixed Sabre 9:30am (check-in close) Y12 Mixed Sabre 12:00pm (check-in close) Y10* Mixed Sabre 2:30pm (check-in close) * #2 or #0 blades are required for all Y10 events -All events will fenced with electric equipment. Underarm protectors, chest protectors, knee high socks, etc., will be required. -Boy and girls will be mixed in each age category with 100% promotion from the first round. -Points will be awarded at each competition for all age categories. These points will be used to determine the Youth Challenge Champions at the end of the 2012-2013 season.
