Close of check-in: Open womens epee 9:00 AM Open mixed epee 12:30 PM We will fence a standard round of pools with 100% advancing to the Direct Elimination. DE's will be 15-touch bouts with three 3-minute periods. FEES: $20 if preregistered, otherwise, $25 Women receive a $5 discount on the second entry fee, if they fence both events. (Payment can be made at the door, but you MUST pre-register to avoid late fees.) All competitors must be USFA members. If you are not a USFA member, forms will be available at the tournament. If you do not have your USFA card with you when checking in, you will be required to complete a new USFA form and pay the annual fee. The form and payment will be returned to you upon proof of USFA membership subsequent to the tournament. The tournament organizers reserve the right to cancel any event with fewer than 6 competitors checking in on the day of the event. __________________________________ TOURNAMENT SERVICES: Mask & Weapons Checks: All masks must be punch tested and stamped before competing. Weapons and body cords will be tested with weights and shims on the strips. All fencers must have two weapons and two body cords. We hope to have an armorer available to assist with faulty weapons Preregistration opens on 01/17/2008. Preregistration closes on 02/28/2008.
