In-House Y10/Y12 Foil Cookie Tournament

Tournament: MTFC In-House Mixed Y10/Y12 Foil Tournament Date: January 2nd, 2023 Location: Metro Tacoma Fencing Club, Lakewood, WA We are physically located at 8629 S Tacoma Way Lakewood, WA 98499, right next to the Olympus Spa and across the street from H Mart. There are a number of food options near our club. Events Scheduled: Mixed Y10/Y12 Foil: 10:00 AM Mixed Y10/Y12 Epee: 10:15 AM -- CANCELLED (no registrations) Mixed Y14 Foil: 2:00 PM -- CANCELLED (one registration) Mixed Y14 Epee: 2:15 PM -- CANCELLED (no registrations) The MTFC Cookie Tournament is a holiday tradition: all participating fencers bring in baked goods and as competitors are eliminated from the tournament, they get to choose a treat to take home with them. This tournament is being held to help raise funds for Metro Tacoma Fencing Club’s Scholarship Fund, which offers scholarships to students who otherwise may not be able to afford to fence. This tournament is open to Beginner, Intermediate, and Competitive level epee and foil fencers at MTFC. It is unsanctioned and no rating can be earned. We greatly appreciate your support! This is an Unsanctioned Mixed Foil for current MTFC Competitive, Intermediate, and Beginner foil fencers. This will be a traditional event with pools and direct eliminations (DEs). We will have a maximum of 18 fencers (3 pools of 6) per event. The entry fee for this event is $25 per fencer (billed to your Jackrabbit account) and a store-bought baked good (value of no more than $20), but additional donations are welcome. Preregistration opens on 12/15/2022. Preregistration closes on 01/01/2023.
