Summer National Saber Qualifiers! Online registration closes on 5/21/21. Subway: A,C,E, 1,2,3,F,V, B,D, W, R, Q, N ,7, S to 42nd Street. Street parking is free on the weekends. Format: One round of pools with 80% promotion to Direct Elimination. Events generally start fencing about 10 minutes after close of registration. First events of the day may start sooner. Doors open 20 minutes prior to the first event. Entry & Eligibility $60 pre-paid on AskFred / No Walk Ins. COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES: - No spectators will be permitted in the club during the tournament except coaches. -Upon entering the 2nd floor, each student will be greeted by a staff member, checked in and informed where to bring equipment and warm up. - All fencers will be checked for symptoms of sickness upon arrival. -Students will be emailed a covid medical questionnaire to fill out prior to arrival. - Everyone will be required to wear masks at all times. - Social distancing between fencers will be strictly enforced with chairs and markers placed for fencers to sit in between bouts. You must belong to the USFA or another FIE federation with proof of membership in order to compete. Join or renew at http://usfencing.org/us-fencing-membership. National age eligibility requirements will be enforced; however, fencers with points in the next lower age category who do not otherwise meet age eligibility are allowed to fence. This is a USFA and Metropolitan Division sanctioned event. Ratings will be awarded where earned. No refunds! If you need to withdraw for any reason, you must notify us via e-mail by 5/10 to receive credit towards a future event.
