SITS is celebrating it's new space with a Grand Reopening 3 weapon Tournament! Please join us at our new 10,000 Sq. Ft. facility for a weekend of fun filled fencing!

Sword in the Scroll Fencing Academy is celebrating its new and improved space with a Grand Reopening 3 Weapon Tournament! For the first time in its nearly 20 year history SITS has the ability to host an A4 event!


Our new facility is 10,000 sq. ft. and has 9 competition strips and ample room for spectators. Concessions will be available, we will be accepting cash only.

We are still located at 90 South Park St. Willimantic, CT 06226. Plenty of parking is available. Please follow signs to our new point of entry. We are conveniently located between New York and Boston. Please come join us in celebrating our newly renovated facility!


EVENT SCHEDULE:

Saturday, September13th

  1. 1:00pm: Y12 Men's Epee (capped at 21 fencers)
  2. 1:00pm: Y12 Women's Epee (capped at 21 fencers)
  3. 1:00pm: Senior Mixed Saber (capped at 21 fencers)
  4. 4:00pm: Senior Men's Foil (caped at 42 fencers)
  5. 4:00pm: Senior Women's Foil (capped at 21 fencers)

Sunday, September14th

  1. Senior Men's Epee: 8:00am (capped at 72 fencers)
  2. Senior Women's Epee: 2:00pm (capped at 72 fencers)


Regional level referees will be present for all events. Medals will be awarded to the top four (4) fencers in each event. Epee events will be capped at 72 fencers. Men's Foil will be capped at 42 fencers. Saber, Women's Foil, and Youth events will be capped at 21 fencers. Events may be mixed if preregistrations number less than six (6) competitors. Please monitor AskFred for updates to event times if events are mixed. Events will be cancelled if mixed preregistrations number less than six (6) competitors.

Fees

  1. Registration fee: $45.00
  2. Event fee: $10.00

Important dates

  1. Registration opens: 07/29/25
  2. Registration closes: 09/06/25


Registration and payment must be made through askFred.net. Registration is not complete until payment is made. Refunds will be granted up to 48 hours before close of event registration. Refunds will not be granted within 48 of close of event registration.


If event caps are reached fencers may join the waitlist by filling out the form below.

If spots open up do to withdrawals, fencers on the waitlist will be contacted in the order that they signed up.

Walk ins welcome but come at your own risk if event caps are reached. Fencers on the waitlist will have priority over walk ins. Walk ins will be registered on a first come first serve basis.
