Fencers must have at least an Access Membership to USA Fencing. Fencers should register for only one age group per weapon. You may register for both foil and epee events.

General Information:

Rising Stars tournaments are meant to be a child's first introduction to tournament play. They are not designed for fencers who have been competing at the Regional or National level. These tournaments are designed to teach young fencers how to interact with tournament staff (referees, armorers, and bout committee). They are also designed to teach our parents about score keeping and how to best help their fencer(s).

Age Categories:

We will be fencing Youth 8 (birth years 2016-2019) and Youth 10/12 combined (birth years 2012-2017).

If there are 6 or fewer fencers in a category, we will combine events to give fencers the best opportunity for fencing.

Awards:

If the men's and women's events are combined, separate awards will be given to the boys and girls. Awards will be given to the top 4 fencers in each event.

USA Fencing Membership:

Fencers must have at least a current Access Membership with USA Fencing. Fencers will be required to wear appropriate fencing attire and safety equipment.

Refund Requests:

Last day for refund request is 10/17/2024 midnight. Only the event fee will be refunded in keeping with USA Fencing policy.

2. $5 Event
