FRED Announces the Ray Coates Memorial Team Tourney RCFC presents the annual Ray Coates Memorial Team Tourney. Join us for two days of team competition! Open and D & Under team events in foil and epee. ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Tournament: Ray Coates Memorial Team Tourney Date(s): 10/23/2004 - 10/24/2004 Location: Rain City Fencing Center Saturday, October 23rd: 9:00 AM - Doors open 9:30 AM - D & Under Team Foil 12:00 noon - D & Under Team Epee Sunday, October 24th: 9:00 AM - Doors open 9:30 AM - Open Team Foil 12:00 noon - Open Team Epee All times listed are close of registration. Team matches will be organized by pools of 3 or 4 teams (if time allows) to a direct elimination with all places fenced. Each team match will be relay format to 45 touches. Open events are for all fencers. Div III events are for fencers classified "D" or under in the weapon they're fencing. All teams may be men, women, or mixed, and may consist of 3 team members plus an optional alternate. If at least 4 all-women teams register for an event, a separate women's team competition will be held concurrently with the mixed event. If you don't have a team to fence on, show up anyway. We'll set you up with one.
