BAFC Mother’s Day Madness Open Fencing Day
Do something more than another local tournament this mother’s day. No waiting, no referees, no getting eliminated and going home after a few bouts. Join BAFC Los Gatos for mother’s day madness, a day of open fencing designed to encourage as much fencing as possible. This is a chance for athletes to test new ideas, challenge new opponents, and gain confidence through volume.
During your weapon’s 2-hour block, fencers will have unlimited access to 18 competitive fencing strips, the freedom to fence anyone in the venue, try new actions, correct mistakes, and experiment with solutions. Parents and coaches are welcome in our upstairs silent viewing area, complete with complimentary wi-fi and coffee. Students are responsible for making the most of their time, asking others to fence, managing their strip time, and staying active from start to finish. All important skills for athletes to develop on their own.
Fencers will receive a bout counter, at the end of the training block, the fencer with the most bouts will be announced!
The cost is $20 per fencer!

Saber 1pm-3pm
Epee 4pm-6pm
