Join us for our BOOST Tournament series during the 2015-2016 season. BOOST events are D & Under tournaments (fencers born 2002 or earlier) with the focus on boosting skills, earning or refreshing ratings, developing referees, and having FUN.
Note This is a Old AskFRED event. Registrations and results are all correct, but some other data could be missing.

This season Mid-South Fencers' Club is holding BOOST events in conjunction with our Priority on Youth Tournament series. BOOST events are USFA sanctioned events for fencers born in 2002 or earlier who also have USFA classifications of D or under. Entry fees are $25, or $20 if you are also competing in additional events as part of Priority on Youth. The Mid-South Tournament Schedule can be found here: http://midsouthfencersclub.org/tournament-schedule/ Mid-South Fencers' Club is in proximity to the Historic BrightLeaf District of Downtown Durham, NC adjacent to Duke University and 9 miles from UNC-Chapel Hill. Our club is walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, boutique shops, pubs, fine and casual dining, entertainment and a new Marriott hotel. More information about Durham can be found by vising http://www.durham-nc.com/. Parking: Parking for the competition is available at the BrightLeaf Square pay lot located at the intersection of Main Street and Gregson Street. Parking fees range around $5, usually free on weekends. Street parking is available and we ask that fencers use the small parking lot in front of the fencing club for pickup and dropoff only. Eligibility: Athletes must be current competitive members of USA Fencing. Fencers must follow the age criteria as set forth by USA fencing for each event. The age and classification chart is available here: http://www.usfencing.org/page/show/698393-age-and-classification-eligibility Communication & Questions: Important information and updates will be sent through askfred.net.
