NJFA Youth - All Weapons

Join us whether you participated in the NJFA Youth Cup series or not. Top 40% finishers in event today will receive free tournament entry coupons to use at NJFA next season. Great Summer Nationals tune-up for 2007 or 2008!!! Ratings can be earned today, however youth events do not use the E1 or D1 classifications. This means that these events are “NR” until they achieve a C1 level or higher. The level of competition has been fantastic and Cup prizes will be awarded today. This is the final event in the 2006-07 NJFA Youth Cup Series. All youth events held from October 2006 through June 2007 were eligible. Points were awarded for first 5 places in each event (including today's events). Points were cumulative and prizes are being awarded today to the top 3 finishers in each event category. Fees are: $25. for paid preregistration $30. for unpaid preregistration. NO CREDIT CARDS at the door. $35. at the door Cash or checks only for payment at the door. $50. fee for returned checks. NO CREDIT CARDS. No refunds unless (1) notification is received prior to close of preregistration or (2) NJFA cancels the event. Preregistration is necessary for planning. If you plan on coming, but don't wish to pay online, please pre-register without payment so that we can have an adequate number of Directors on hand. You must have valid USFA membership - you MUST show your USFA card or have proof that payment has been made. You may join at the door - but please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the close of check-in in order to fill out the USFA membership forms. Membership now will be valid for next season also. You can download the membership form from: http://www.usfencing.org/downloads/application.pdf Parent signature required. Please have separate checks made out to USFA or use your credit card. All fencers must wear required fencing attire and bring at least 2 weapons and 2 body cords. NOTE: If you are fencing in a Y10 event - you must have a #2 or #0 blade... Fencers must meet USFA birth year requirements. USFA Birth Year Eligibility: Y14 1992-1995 Y12 1994-1997 Y10 1996-1999 Y8 1998-2000* *Note, Y8 is not a USFA category and is this event is not sanctioned by the NJ Division. It is for fun and practice,and participation is at parent discretion.
