Preregistration closes on 11/08/2024. Your team must have a name to be counted or you will NOT be fencing.
Preregistration Prices
We are currently unable to accept cash at the door. If you do not pre-pay online, please bring a check or credit/debit card. Credit card purchases will have a 3% surcharge.
Registration Fee: $10
Team Event (per Team): $45
If you are not preregistered, it will be $60 per team to register.
Foil, Sabre, and Epee are all currently capped at 16 teams. Day-of preregistrations will also be subject to these caps.
Doors open at 9 am on both days.
Tournament Format
We will be following the SIFA/CFC format for team events.
First will be individual pools, which will be used to seed the team DE's.
The individual DEs will be the top 1/3 (approx.) fencers and will not affect the seeding for team DEs.
Team DE's will be in the format of first to 5 (best of 9) 5-touch bouts.

YOU MUST BE A CURRENT COLLEGIATE FENCER TO PARTICIPATE
Current USA Fencing membership with "accidental coverage" is required to compete. The $29 Non-Competitive (Access) membership satisfies this requirement.
All USA Fencing rules regarding equipment will be enforced. We will be checking masks, gloves and body cords. All fencers competing in the Sabre events must have an 800N FIE approved glove to compete, all fencers using chest protectors must use protectors in compliance to latest SEMI changes.

FOOD AND DRINK: NO food and drinks are allowed in the CRC gym with the exception of water. This is the policy of the facility and it will be strictly enforced.

PARKING: The parking will be at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center Parking Deck above ground entrance (750 Ferst Dr, Atlanta, GA 30332). please tell the attendant if there is one that you are here for the fencing tournament and have prepaid for parking. If you have an issue, please call (774) 275-4907
DISCOUNTS: We are offering a discount for all clubs that bring strips for both days. Members of your club will receive a $5 discount for the first event for each strip that you bring. Please contact us to confirm ahead of time. Strips must have current timing.
NON-COLLEGIATE FENCERS: The Yellow Jacket Fencing Club reserves the right to terminate any non-collegiate fencers from registration prior to or at the door of the event without notice.
