Fence-a-Thon

Capital City Fencers' Club is proud to present the Fence-a-Thon 2016: 10th anniversary edition. Events Scheduled: Mixed Epee Mixed Foil Mixed Saber All events will begin at 7pm on Saturday, May 28. Although you're very welcome to fence as many weapons as you'd like after midnight, for the smooth running of the competition, please select only one weapon for the official competition. Events with six or more fencers of each gender may be separated. If this is your first Fence-a-Thon rodeo, here's how it works: collect pledges and raise donations from your family and friends, and bring your $20 entry fee to Royal Oak Middle School in Victoria BC in time for a 7pm start time. We'll run an unsanctioned competition in all three weapons until midnight, when we'll break for our famous Midnight Feast. After midnight, stick around for more fencing, team events, silly competitions and fencing games! At 7 the next morning we'll ring the bell and award great prizes to our event winners and the people who've raised the most money. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your dentist, tell your dog: it's going to be the best Fence-a-Thon ever and you won't want to miss it!
