Welcome to The Infinity Cup 2023 RYC / RJCC / DV2 / Non-Region D1A This tournament is open to all regions of USA Fencing. Regional points will be awarded to members of Region 6. We recommend that you arrive at least one (1) hour before the close of your event check-in time. Early equipment check will be 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 31. Normal full equipment check will begin 90 minutes prior to the close of registration for each event every tournament competition day starting at 6:30 a.m. April 1. All fencers must have a USA Fencing membership card or a clearly legible copy to use the Auto Check-In feature of our bar scanner. To become a member of USA Fencing click here Fencers will be required to present additional proof of age in the form of: 1) an original or legible copy of a birth certificate; 2) a passport; or 3) a driver's license or state issued ID card, unless the USA Fencing membership card has "Birth Year Is Verified " noted on the membership card. To avoid this extra check-in step fencers should submit a copy of any of the above to USA Fencing to verify the birth year of the athlete permanently before the tournament. Fencers must check in each day they compete. Our Sponsors Equipment Vendor - Absolute Fencing Official Event Merchandiser - tba COVID-19 Guidelines This tournament is subject to current USA Fencing policies, federal mandates, state laws and local orders regarding COVID-19, including the assembly of persons which will be implemented throughout the entirety of the tournament. These policies and practices are subject to change at any moment. The continued public health and safety are the number one (1) concerns of the tournament organizer. IF YOU CANNOT COMPLY WITH CURRENT COVID-19 PROTOCOLS PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER OR ATTEND THIS TOURNAMENT. THE TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER WILL NOT DEBATE YOU REGARDING MANDATED COVID-19 POLICIES AND/OR MANDATES. If the tournament is cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns or by the order of USA Fencing, a full refund will be issued to all fencers with the exception of administrative fees which are non-refundable. Everyone in the venue is encouraged to wear a face mask that simultaneously covers both the nose and mouth except when eating and/or drinking. A voluntary temperature check in addition to hand sanitizer will be made available to anyone in the venue as a public safety courtesy. EQUIPMENT CONTROL Armorers have the full right to decline checking unwashed or equipment that is not clean. Fencers must bring the following list of equipment for equipment control by the armory staff: fencing mask, fencing glove, conductive vest/lame', body cords and head cords. Once your equipment has been inspected and marked with the equipment control stamp and control tape it is valid for the duration of the tournament. Daily re-inspection is not necessary. If the inspection mark or control tape is missing a red card penalty for that bout will be issued by the referee and the equipment lacking the equipment control mark/tape will be confiscated by the referee for the duration of the bout. After the bout, the equipment will be returned to the fencer and must be re-inspected by the armory staff. Fencing masks with a traditional "tongue" in the back must have a horizontal security strap that is firmly attached to both sides of the mask. Leon Paul masks with Contour-Fit Plus must have the mask strap attached at all times. Masks submitted for equipment control that do not have these safety features in place will be deemed incomplete and will not be inspected. Weapons will be checked at the strip at the start of each bout by the referee. The fencer must present themselves with a minimum of two (2) working weapons, two (2) working body cords and two (2) working head cords (foil & sabre). MISCELLANEOUS Information during the tournament regarding check-in, pools, direct elimination and final results will be continuously posted and updated at www.FencingTimeLive.com. Any errors must be immediately reported to the bout committee for review and/or correction. Each event will start within a few minutes after the announced close of registration. WITHOUT EXCEPTION AND SUBJECT TO AN IMMEDIATE PENALTY during the pool round only fencers in uniform, referees and tournament staff are allowed inside the marked and designated "sport zone". WITHOUT EXCEPTION AND SUBJECT TO AN IMMEDIATE PENALTY during the direct elimination only one (1) coach or parent is allowed to assist the fencer during the active DE bout near the end of the strip. There will be a special awards ceremony for the top-8 fencers of each event. The tournament champions will have their names permanently inscribed on The Infinity Cup. Event Fee Info Registration and Event Fees Regular fees begin Wednesday, October 12, 2022 and last until Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST - Regular registration is $35.00. Regular event fees are $55.00/event (RYC, RJCC & DV2) and $50.00/event (D1A). Late fees (Triple) begin Tuesday, March 21, 2023 and last until Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST - Late registration will be $105.00. Late event fees will be $165.00/event (RYC, RJCC & DV2) and $150.00 (D1A). Starting Friday, March 31, 2023, online registration will not be permitted. Walk-in registration, event entry and participation will be permitted if there are open slots in the event and approval is granted by the Bout Committee. Refund Policy The Registration and Administration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Refund requests must be received by Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST. The refund of event fees can be requested by sending an email to: TheInfinityCupCordele@Gmail.com Starting Tuesday, March 21, 2023 the tournament policy will be NO REFUND, NO EXCEPTION for any reason. Refunds are processed a few days after the refund request has been received. If approved, the refund will be released by the national office of USA Fencing. There will be NO REFUND of fees approved or issued to No-shows or Withdrawal from events.
