Junior Olympic Louisiana Division Qualifiers
This is not a tournament. There are no medals, trophies or accolades beyond a fist bump.

CONTESTED EVENT WILL BE FENCED AT THE NOFC 12/09/2024
Only Competitive members of the Louisiana Division can enter this qualifier.
(to be eligible to join the Louisiana Division, you must have a residence,
belong to a club or school in lower Louisiana and Mississippi) Championships
are held in Charlotte, NC, February 14 - 17, 2025 To participate in Junior Olympic
Championships you must qualify through this event or through the National
Points list.
If you are auto qualified by points, you need not register.
FENCERS MUST BE BORN:
JUNIOR 2005 - 2011
CADET 2008 - 2011
SCHEDULE :
Event times are subject to change and fencers will be notified by the change
by 12/06.
FORMAT:
Events will fence one round of pools to a Direct Elimination Format.
REGISTRATIONS AND FEES:
Entry Fee $45
Contested Events:
Only events with 4 or more preregistered fencers on or by 12/06 will be
contested. For contested events only, walk-in entries will be allowed, but
those not preregistered must pay a $85 entry fee (per event). Pre registration
will close on 12/06 and non paid registrants will be auto removed.
Uncontested Events:
Entries should be received no later than 12/06 in order to possibly qualify
for the Championships in Charlotte, NC. (Entries fees must be paid online at WWW.askFRED.net)
Events with 3 or less entries on 12/06 will not be contested. All
pre-registered fencers will qualify with no entries allowed at the door
Events with no entries on 12/06 will be cancelled, and no entries will be
allowed at the door.
Preregistration closes on 12/06/2024. PAID is preregistered.
NON paid registrants will be removed at midnight on 12/06.
Contested events will begin at 6pm on the 12/09 at the NOFC. Fencers should
plan on arriving at the venue one hour prior to the start of the event to allow
time to check-in and warm-up.
ELIGIBILITY AND UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS:
Valid USA Fencing Competitive membership with age verification
is required.
Fencers must be in full whites including knickers, plastrons and long socks gloves w/o holes tears or unseam
Weapons check will be on strip
