Events Scheduled: Y8 Mixed Foil Check in closes at 11:00am Y10 WF Check in closes at 9:00am Y10 MF Check in closes at 9:30am Y12 WF Check in closes at 11:30am Y12 MF Check in closes at 12:00pm Y14 WF Check in closes at 2:00pm Y14 MF Check in closes at 2:30pm Fencers must meet USFA birth year requirements. 2009-10 USFA Birth Year Eligibility: Y8 = 2001-2003 (not a USFA event, participation is at parent discretion) Y10 = 1999-2002 Y12 = 1997-2000 Y14 = 1995-1998 VISOR MASKS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. All fencers must wear required full fencing attire and bring at least 2 working weapons and 2 working body cords. NOTE: If you are fencing in a Y8 and/or Y10 event - you must have a #2 or #0 blade. Youth events do not use the E1 or D1 classifications. This means that these events are �NR� until they achieve a C1 level or higher. You must have valid USFA membership - you MUST show your USFA card or have proof that payment has been made. You may join at the door - but please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the close of check-in in order to fill out the USFA membership forms. You can download the membership form from: http://www.usfencing.org/downloads/application.pdf Parent signature required. Please have separate checks made out to USFA. Refund requests (event fee only) must be received at least 3 days prior to the event. TOURNAMENT FORMAT Only official USFA ratings will be used. One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds.
