For the Western Reserve bicentennial we are honoring the coaches who have contributed to the fencing program. Charles Mears taught at WRA from 1935 to 1947. He taught crafts, woodworking, fencing, and started the alumni association at the school. He took a leave of two years to serve in the Navy during WWII. Mr. Mears moved on to lead the American Heart Association in PA.
D and Under foil, epee, and saber events as well as an unsanctioned D and Under Epee tournament.
10 AM Mixed D and Under Epee
12 PM Mixed D and Under Foil
2 PM Mixed D and Under Saber
2:30 PM Mixed D and Under Unsanctioned Team Epee
$40 per individual entry, $60 per team entry.
