This is the annual University of Virginia Fencing Club fundraiser! Senior Mixed and Div3 Senior Mixed events, Medals to the 8! $35 per event.
THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA CAVALIER OPEN 2026
The University of Virginia Fencing Club (and the VA Division) are thrilled to announce this SANCTIONED CLUB FUNDRAISER to be held on 2/7 and 2/8 at the UVA Aquatic and Fitness Center, 450 Whitehead Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22904.
The UVA Fencing Club has organized this event with the VA Division, and promises a well-run college club event with highly rated referees and bout committee. Events will be competed on a gym floor with strips taped out. **MINORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES**
From the University: "This is not a drop-off program. The University of Virginia expects parents or guardians to supervise minors on University property during this event. Parents or guardians should not leave minors unsupervised on University property."
A $35 per event fee must be paid in advance here on AskFred. Unpaid preregistrations will be deleted after the registration close date of 2/4/2026 (or prior if unpaid registrations prevent fencers from registering. Requests to be added to the event after the registration period closes WILL BE DECLINED, due to space or referee limitations.
