Happy New Year!!! This is the VA Division New Year's tourney! Snr Mixed, Wmn's, D3 and Y12Mix foil events as well! Medals to the 8! Complete registration (with payment) by 1/29/2026.
To honor a person so intrinsically involved with fencing in Virginia, and this Richmond-based VA Division tournament, the Division (with Cyndi's consent) has forever renamed The Hangover Classic to The Tom Lucente Hangover Classic.

Best wishes to you for a terrific 2026! Start it off right by fencing well at the Hangover Classic! The event will have strong Open Mixed, Women's, and Y12 Mixed Foil events on 9 grounded strips. This is a USFA-sanctioned event hosted/run by the Virginia Division.
The tournament will be held at the Richmond Fencing Club @ 3411 Carlton Street, Richmond, VA 23230.
Events that do not reach a minimum of 5 registrations will not be held. We will make every effort to promote the event, but if this happens we'll refund or move the registration to another event with the fencer's approval.
VENDOR: Richmond Fencing Club will have SOME gear/equipment for sale! Please make sure you ask them for any of your equipment needs. If you know you need equipment in advance, please get in touch with the club directly prior, to confirm the availability of that equipment @ (804) 622-3655 or info@richmondfencing.com.
FOOD: There are no on-site food vendors, but several restaurants are walkable from the facility. We'll post a listing of some of them at the venue. There will be some snacks and drinks available for sale.
REFEREES:
All referees are USFA regionally/nationally rated.
FEES: ALL PAYMENTS ($5 Reg Fee, $35 per event) MUST BE MADE ONLINE BY THE TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION CLOSE DATE OF 1/29/2026. No Exceptions Made/No Walk-Ins allowed!
