DMFC's Frostbite (Foil & Saber Sat. Epee Sun.)

Welcome to Des Moines Fencing Club's Frostbite tournament!

***Remember please look for the Fencing Flags and enter on the east side of the building***

USA Fencing Access or Competitive memberships will be required for all sanctioned events. All events will be conducted according to the current USA Fencing rules. All equipment and behavior must meet the requirements laid down by these rules. We will be checking all masks and gloves.

We need referees, if you are available to referee please e-mail the organizer list at the bottom of the page.

All referees will be compensated @ $25 per event.

If you referee an event you get to fence your event for free.

We pay mileage for out-of-town referees at the federal rate (70 cents a mile) for travel compensation.

Lunch will also be provided for referees.

TOURNAMENT & EVENT FEES:

Pre-registration is $30

Plus $10 for each additional event

Day of Event registration fee +$5

Cash or checks, please. We do not accept credit at this time

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

AskFred registration deadline January 23rd, 2026 at noon (Pay day of event)

Medals for 1st, 2nd, two 3rd placements

USFA access or competitive membership will be required for all sanctioned events

Please bring proof of current membership in the USFA

All USFA rules will be enforced.
