This is Maryland's pre-eminent vets event, and there are few local, non-ROC, non-NAC vet events that record more entries. Ours usually range between 25-35 fencers in each event, and foil is usually at least a B2 event, and epee is usually at least an A2.
In addition to beautiful, event-themed engraved medals awarded to the top eight in each event, we also offer a bottle of our custom "Drinko de Mayo" wine to the top two men and top two women, as well as small gifts for every competitor. Our tournaments have great managers, who insure everything runs quickly and efficiently, and we always get the best refs we can find.
If you are not familiar with our venue, Savage Mill, the Mill first opened in 1822, and is a wonderful historic destination situated along the scenic Little Patapsco River. Besides our club, under its roof are many antique and specialty stores, a great restaurant (the Dive Bar), a wonderful chocolate shop, a very nice French bakery, and (on Saturdays) a delicious Jamaican sandwich shop.

When you arrive, you will see a rather small parking lot on your left, down a decline. You will also see a sign directing you to the Big Lot. Follow that sign (going the full length of Foundry Street) to the Big Lot, and then park as close as you can to the Mill. Once you enter the building, you will see (or hear) our club, directly downstairs and on your right.
