OFSC Senior Epee Friday Night Fracas

Registration opens on June 1st and ends at 6:00 PM on the 14th. This is our first USFA sanctioned event at OFSC, so all participants must be current USFA members, with a minimum of Access Membership. If you are not currently a member and wish to participate, you may purchase membership here. New or first-time upgrading members, who joins USA Fencing between April 1 and June 30 of the current membership season, shall be entitled to a membership for the remaining months in the current season through the next membership season. 

Both a men's and a women's event are planned, however if either event has fewer than six entrants, events will be combined, and awards will be given to top finishers of both sexes. Both events are capped at 21 entrants, each, to accommodate time and space limitations. Pre-registration will assure you a spot, if the tournament fills up.

The facility has ample parking, both in front, at the north side of the building, and in the rear. We do not have permission to use the Public Storage lot next door to the south, but we doubt anyone will be towed from there, but there's always that risk.

Payment through AskFRED is not available for this tournament, so plan to arrive early enough to make payment. If you want to prepay at OFCS, prior to the event, that is also an option. Payment over the phone is possible during OFSC's operating hours. Pre-registration is encouraged, so we can gauge the anticipated turnout and prepare for it. If you pre-register and find you cannot attend, please call or email us (407 917 0654 or info@orlandofencingsports.com), and we'll take you off the list to assure others can register.

Those of you familiar with the venue know that there is limited space for fencing bags, primarily in the front of the lounge area, with room for a few bags along the south wall of the salle. Your patience and courtesy in keeping your bags as out-of-the-way as possible is appreciated.

Both events have a nominal start time on 6:15 PM, but we will run the larger event's pools first. Since this is an evening tournament, we'll try to move it along efficiently, but we'll stay as long as it takes. There is no restriction on our hours. We hope no one needs to get up too early the next morning,

It's been brought to our attention that AskFRED may display that the total cost to enter this tournament is $90, This is incorrect. There is no separate registration and event fee. The total cost to enter this event is $45.00, payable at the event. Prepayment on AskFRED is not accepted.
