2nd Chamley-Watson Youth Foil Cup at Fencers Club

Come join us for our 2nd Annual Chamley-Watson Foil Cup Y8-10-12-14 presented by Fencers Club. Fencers will receive gift bags, and custom trophies for winners! Pre-registration is $45 until 4/21; $65 after; $100 after cap or at the discretion of Fencers Club. Due to space limitations, there will be NO WALK-INs. Entry fee payments can be made in cash, check or credit card (online or in person on tournament day). All proceeds will be going to the Fencers Club Scholarship Fund to sponsor athletes who need financial support to reach their goals both on and off the fencing strip. Miles Chamley-Watson is a two-time Olympian, Olympic Bronze Medalist, favorite to win the Team Gold Medal at the 2020 Tokyo Games, and the first U.S. male foil fencer to ever win a Senior World Championship. The 2nd Annual Chamley-Watson Cup is the first youth fencing competition to support Miles’ vision to inspire and guide the next generation of youth fencers to reach for greatness both on and off the fencing strip. As a Fencers Club Youth Ambassador, Miles is at the cutting edge of this campaign to foster physical, intellectual and emotional growth in youth around the globe through fencing. USA Fencing Membership Requirement: Please remember to bring your USA Fencing Membership ID number. All fencers must be competitive members of USA Fencing. Membership registration or renewal can be completed online: http://www.usfencing.org/page/show/698114-membership Equipment: Please note that masks with conductive bibs are required for all events. Make sure to bring at least two working weapons, bodycords and mask cords to the tournament. Any equipment/armory checks will be done on strip. Awards and Gifts: Winners of each event will receive custom trophies. Top 4 finishers will earn medals, and places 5-8 will earn certificates. Payment and Refunds: Payments can be made in cash (preferred), credit card or check on tournament day at the door, or online via AskFRED beforehand. Fencers Club does not issue refunds for tournament entry fees. If a fencer cannot attend for a valid reason (illness, etc.), he/she MUST e-mail info@fencersclub.org BEFORE the tournament begins to request a credit for a future foil tournament at Fencers Club.
