Maryville Fencing Open

Events Scheduled: Mixed Epee at 9:00 AM Unrated Mixed non USFA dry foil 10:30 AM Mixed Foil 10:30 AM Mixed Saber 2:00 PM Mixed non USFA dry Saber 2:00 PM Pools will start 15 minutes after close of registration. Preregistration opens on 02/17/2008. Preregistration closes on 03/28/2008. Please join us for our inaugural tournament at the Maryville Fencing Club. We will also be hosting a non-USFA foil and saber events to accommodate fencers who are not USFA members or who do not have the required USFA gear. USFA Entry Fee: $15 / 1 event + $5 per additional event Non-USFA Entry Fee: $10/ 1 event + $5 per additional event -Registration will be paid at the door. Note: If there are less than 6 signups in a weapon the day before the tournament (March 28), we will cancel that weapons event. Any rated referees who agree to officiate in one weapon get to fence the other events for free. Location: Participants will be expected to have two working weapons and body cords for inspection at the strip. Fencers are required by recent rulings to wear plastrons and appropriate fencing knickers or pants.
