RYC in North Texas! ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED - YOU MAY STILL ENTER THIS TOURNAMENT BY PAYING AT THE DOOR. Senior Mixed, Women's Open events plus Youth 10, 12, and 14 Regional Youth Circuit (RYC) tournaments are held throughout the season, similar to SYC events. There are no national points awarded, but participation in these competitions is required to qualify for both the Y10/Y12 competitions at Summer National Championships and Y10/Y12 events at North American Cups. SWORDMASTERS is our exclusive vendor and sponsor. VENUE St. Mark's School of Texas Gymnasium 10600 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75230 USFA or FIE MEMBERSHIP and a signed WAIVER OF PARTICIPATION are required * All participants must be competitive members of the USFA of FIE. It is incumbent upon the FENCER to show proof of membership. Internet access may not be available at the venue, so do not rely on the tournament organizers to have access to all Division membership lists. * If you do not have proof of membership, you will be required to complete and pay for a membership. Payment for memberships is made directly to the USFA (NO CASH!); bring a separate check or credit card number for membership. * Fencers under 18 years old are reminded they need the signature of a parent or guardian (not a coach) on BOTH the membership and waiver forms. * Special rules for ONE DAY MEMBERSHIPS: One day memberships are not valid for any qualifying tournament, so are NOT valid for RYC events at this tournament.) * One day USFA memberships for the SENIOR EVENTS may be purchased only through the USFA's website. There WILL NOT be Internet available at the venue for this. Fencer's purchasing one day memberships must bring proof of purchase to the tournament valid for the day they are fencing. Without proof of membership, fencers will be required to complete a USFA membership form and pay the full annual dues at the venue before they will be allowed to fence. * Waiver of Liability is required to be filled out and signed. Fencers under 18 must have a parent signature on the waiver in order to be able to fence. The waiver should be attached as a PDF file to your registration confirmation email from askfred after you complete your payment. Waivers and USFA membership forms will be available at the venue. Payment to the USFA is by check or credit card only. FEES: $30.00 Registration (waived for St. Mark's students) $20.00 Per event A $30 LATE FEE will apply at door for those who do not pay their fees before December 31st No payments will be accepted on askfred after January 3rd. Refund Policy: Fencers who have to withdraw PRIOR to the tournament, who have paid through askfred, may receive a refund of their fees paid less a $10 administrative fee. AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top 4 fencers for both the men and women finalists for each event, even if the event is fenced mixed. BIRTH YEARS Senior - 1997 or earlier Youth 14 - 1996-1999 Youth 12 - 1998-2001 Youth 10 - 2000-2003
    Parents should come prepared with ONE of the following in case the fencer’s age needs verification for eligibility purposes:
    • A government issued photo ID with date of birth included
    • A copy of birth certificate
    • Passport
