REGISTRATION

  1. The close of registration for ME is 18:00 EST on April 15th, 2025
  2. The close of registration for all other events is 18:00 EST on May 20th, 2025
  3. COMPLETION OF THE REGISTRATION FORM IS A MUST
  4. PAYMENT - Canadian Fencers by Interac E-transfer to veteranfencer.gw@gmail.com US fencers by PayPal to veteranfencer.gw@gmail.com
  5. Late registrations will incur DOUBLE FEES plus a $25.00 Admin Charge.
  6. Registrations will not be valid unless the registration form is submitted, and fees paid by the close of registration.

FORMAT

  1. All fencers must fence combined event (40+). Once the combined event is complete all fencers will fence age group events, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ seeded into tableaux according to combined results.
  2. Age group medals will be awarded.
  3. 80+ Medals awarded when numbers warrant.
  4. If there are less than two fencers in an age group, fencers may fence in the next age group down.
  5. Master at Arms (three weapons) Champion Awards

TEAM EVENTS

  1. Women's Teams must have an aggregate age of 135 years
  2. Men's Teams must have an aggregate age of 150 years
  3. Relay to 27 hits
  4. Substitutes must keep aggregate age.
  5. Teams may be formed at the Venue.
  6. Team entries may be restricted to eight teams per event.


LICENCES

  1. Canadian Fencers must have a valid CFF licence.
  2. US Fencers must have a valid USFA membership.
  3. Other nationalities must have a valid National Federation membership or FIE licence.


EQUIPMENT:

  1. FIE Equipment is NOT required. 350N clothing accepted.
  2. Name and Country patch is NOT required.
  3. All gear MUST be in good condition.
  4. Gloves, masks and lames will be checked.
  5. No equipment vendor will be at the Venue.

This event is sanctioned by the Canadian Fencing Federation and the Ontario Fencing Association. It is also endorsed by both the Veterans Committee of the Canadian Fencing Federation and the Veterans Committee of the United States Fencing Association
