BSUFC Benefit for RAINN Event

The BSU Fencing Club is hosting another charity event to raise money for the local branch of the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (or RAINN). This will be full USFA-sanctioned event. Due to restrictions imposed by Ball State University, no fencer under the age of 16 will be allowed to compete and any fencer between the ages of 16-18 must sign a waiver of liability at the bout committee prior to registration. Full USFA memberships or 1-day memberships are allowed, but must be purchased prior to arrival at the tournament. Valid proof of membership will be checked at the bout committee check-in table. This event will be free for any fencer wishing to participate. Donations for RAINN will be collected at the bout committee for those wishing to help. Each event will start approximately 15 minutes after the closing of registration. Please note the times may be subject to change (and any fencers registered will be notified of time changes in advance). Events Scheduled: 9:45am - Mixed Foil 12:15pm - Mixed Saber 1:45pm - Mixed Epee Preregistration opens on 02/25/2012. Preregistration closes on 04/06/2012. This event will be held in Ball Gymnasium, located on the south side of Ball State campus. The map link above will direct you to the parking lot entrance located behind the gym. We ask all fencers please enter through the east doors and follow the signs up the stairs. Referees are asked to volunteer their time to help the club raise money for the Muncie community; however, lunch will be provided.
