The Derby Open is the KY Division's Summer Nationals qualifier. $35 entry fee. $10.00 each additional event. College students receive a $10 rebate with I.D. All participant's must preregister by the closing date. Entries WILL NOT be accepted at the door.

The Derby Open is the KY Division's USA Fencing Summer Nationals qualifier. All participants MUST be members of the KY DIVISION. Events are in CST (central standard time). Membership requirements: - USFA membership is required and all events will be run according to USFA rules and regulations. Fencers will not be permitted to compete without proof of membership in the form of valid USFA cards or letters of good standing from the USFA, or without a completed membership application and payment. Membership applications will be available at the tournament. Preston Health & Activities Center http://www.wku.edu/imrec/facilities/ From North on I-65 Take I-65 south to Bowling Green exit #26. Turn right onto KY-234N/Cemetery Rd toward Bowling Green for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Nashville Rd for about 2 miles as well. Turn right onto University Blvd and at the next light take a right onto Normal Dr. Turn left at the first light into the Preston Center/Tate Page Hall parking lot. From South on I-65 Take I-65 north to Bowling Green exit #20, William H. Natcher Parkway. From the parkway, take exit #6 to US 31W/Nashville Rd. Turn right off the exit ramp toward Bowling Green. Go approximately three miles and turn left onto University Blvd.Take a right at the first light onto Normal Drive. At the next light, turn left into the Preston Center/Tate Page Hall parking lot. From Louis B. Nunn Parkway Get onto I-65 South toward Nashville. Take first Bowling Green exit (#28) by Corvette Museum. Take left onto Louisville Road which becomes University Blvd (approximately 5 miles). Continue until you reach Normal Drive. Turn left at the first light into the Preston Center/Tate Page Hall parking lot. From William H. Natcher Parkway Take the first Bowling Green exit (exit #9) off the parkway, turning right off the exit ramp toward Bowling Green (Morgantown Road exit). Continue on US 231 until intersecting with US 68/80 (the road stops at a light and you must turn right or left). Turn left onto Russellville Road. At the next light, turn right onto University Blvd. Continue to the second light and turn left onto Normal Drive. At the next light, turn left into the Preston Center/Tate Page Hall parking lot. Please note: These are directions to the Raymond B. Preston Health & Activities Center. Visitors can park in the metered lot outside of the Preston Center or can park in the Visitor Lot by Diddle Arena. Additional Information: The LifeSkills Run for Autism will affect access to campus on the morning of Saturday, April 26th. The run will start at Bowling Green Ballpark at 8:00 AM and concludes at 9:30 AM. The route will travel up Kentucky Street, following University Blvd, Normal Street, Regents Avenue, and down Chestnut Street. If you plan to be on campus, please allow extra time to reach your destination. During the event, traffic will not be allowed on the course. However, traffic will be allowed to cross the course at intersections when it is safe to do so. These intersections are: · 13th Avenue and Kentucky Street · Alumni Avenue and Kentucky Street (to access the Kentucky St Lot) · 14th Avenue and Chestnut Street Parking Information: You can park in the Hugh Poland lot, Parking Structure 1 (PS1), Parking structure (PS2), and the Peaceford Lot. To PS2 (probably the best place to park): Drive down University Blvd, it will be the nicer looking parking structure To PS1: If you miss PS2, continue down University Blvd and the turn into the structure will be right before the light To the Hugh Poland Lot: From University Blvd, turn onto College Heights Blvd, and take a right. You will then be on Avenue of Champions, a one-way street. Continue down the road until you pass the football field (on your right) and the parking lot should be on your left as you pass the Preston Center To the Peaceford Lot: From 31W/Nashville Rd, turn onto University Blvd. Take a right onto Normal St and the parking lot should be one of the first turns on your left.
