TCFC February Challenges will be an unsanctioned team tournament. Come and fence with your teammates!

TCFC will run the February 2026 monthly tournament in a team event format for all three weapons. Teams from all clubs are welcome, and mixed-club teams are allowed.


Team Events Schedule


  1. Senior Mixed Foil Teams – 8:30 AM
  2. YOUTH (All youth - Y8,Y10,Y12,Y14) Mixed Epee Teams – 10:30 AM [Register under Unsanctioned Y14 Mixed Epee Team]
  3. Senior Mixed Saber Teams – 12:00 PM
  4. YOUTH (All youth - Y8,Y10,Y12,Y14) Mixed Foil Teams – 12:15 PM [Register under Unsanctioned Y14 Mixed Foil Team]
  5. Senior Mixed Epee Teams – 2:00 PM


The starting time might be adjusted depending on how many teams sign up. Sasha will inform all the participants via Askfred if there are any changes.


Team Relay Format

  1. Team size: 3–4 fencers per team.
  2. Relay format up to 45 touches.
  3. Mixed-gender teams allowed.
  4. Teams will be seeded based on the combined USFA ratings of their members.
  5. The event will start with a direct elimination format.
  6. All teams will fence for all places, ensuring each team fences at least 2 to 3 bouts during the tournament.


Registration & Fees

Total Registration Fee for each team is $120.


NOTE: The registration payment link will be updated closer to the date of the tournament.


Location

Twin Cities Fencing Club. The address is 1410 Energy Park Dr Ste 9, St Paul, MN 55108. Google Maps will lead you to the back door between two buildings. Please drive to the front side and entrance from the front door


USFA Membership

This is unsanctioned event so USFA membership is NOT NEEDED. All high school fencers are welcome to fence.


Equipment

Fully electric fencing equipment is required including fencing pants and long socks for sanctioned events. There is a weapon test before each bout. All USFA rules apply.
