2015 Lehigh Valley Sportsfest

Thank you for your interest in our events at Lehigh Valley Sportsfest, Allentown Pa. Here is some important information about this event. This will be the 7th year fencing will be featured at Sportsfest! As with previous years this will be an OUTDOOR event. Costs: 20 dollar Tournament fee with a 10 dollar fee per event. Please pay through askfred with your credit card or CASH ONLY at the venue site the day of the event. Although the events will be held in Allentown Pa (Lehigh County) the tournament will be directed by Circle d'Escrime School of Fencing which is located in the Bucks county, therefor part of the Philadelphia Division. This years events will be SANCTIONED except the youth foil event. Still all USFA rules will be in effect. Electric scoring will be used. Please come prepared with the proper equipment (blades, bodycords, lame, etc.). Ratings will be issued and Philadelpia div USFA as well as Sportsfest medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each event (each winner of a senior event will recieve 2 medals). Youth foil fencers will recieve a sportsfest medal up to third place but no ribbons due to the events non-sanctioned status. Lastly but not at all least important.... These events at Sportsfest are not just for the fencers to be able to compete, but to display the sport itself to people who are totaly naive to fencing. It is VITAL to display the highest level of sportsmanship and respect as possible. Yelling, screaming, crying and arguing referee's calls will not be tolerated. Thank you.
