The Jean Laffite Classic is the Galveston Fencing Club's annual All-U tournament. Registration opens one hour prior to the posted close time. YOUTH-12 FORMAT INFORMATION One round of 5-touch/3minute pools. 100% advance to direct eliminations, which will consist of the best 2 out of 3 five-touch encounters. EQUIPMENT All weapons will be scored electrically. Equipment (masks, lames, and electric cords) will be inspected and marked. USFA Membership Current competitive membership of the USFA required. Membership forms will be available at the venue. If your membership is not pre-validated, you must be prepared to show proof of USFA membership, or at the door, fill out a membership form and pay $60 - check or credit card. Persons under age 18 MUST have a parent's signature on the USFA form. Preregistration opens on 01/04/2011. Preregistration closes on 03/03/2011.
