Memorial Day Madness

Memorial Day Madness will be hosted at the Houston Athletic Fencing Center. Venue: Houston Athletic Fencing Center 4997 W. Bellfort Houston, TX 77035 Events Scheduled: Times listed are the close of registration. Registration opens one hour prior posted closing time. 9:00.......Mixed Foil 9:00.......Mixed Saber 9:00.......Womens Epee 11:00......Y10 Mixed Foil 11:00......Y12 Mixed Foil 11:15......Mixed Epee 12:00......Unrated Mixed Foil 1:30.......Y10 & Y12 Mixed Saber 1:30.......Mixed Novice Foil Womens foil and Unrated Mixed Sabre have been canceled. Fees: Registration: $20 Event: $10 At the Door: Registration: $30 Event: $10 Event with fewer than six fencers at the close of registration will be combined. Novice fencers are fencers that are non-usfa and have been fencing less than one year. USFA Membership Current competitive membership of the USFA required (membership will be available at the venue). If your membership is not pre-validated, you must be prepared to show proof of USFA membership, or at the door, fill out a membership form and pay $60 - check or credit card only (no cash) Persons under age 18 MUST have a parent's signature on the USFA form. EQUIPMENT All weapons will be scored electrically. Equipment (masks, lames, and electric cords) will be inspected and marked. Waiver of Liability ***All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability form which can be fount on the Gulf Coast Division Website. Fencers under age 18 must have a parent's signature on this form.
