Competitive épée tournament series for adults 25+ and Veterans. Test your skill, earn ratings, and fence among peers in a fun, challenging environment. All levels welcome!


RCFC SIgnature Series – Épée Fencing Circuit for Ages 25+ and Vet


Location: Richmond County Fencing Center, Staten Island Mall. We are in the wing with Starbucks and Zara. Use the entrance in between Shake Shack and Barnes & Noble across from the plaza. 


Travel: Parking is free and abundant. Many local buses stop at or near the Mall, including the S44, S55, S56, S59, S79, and S94.


Schedule: First Saturday of each month, November–February with the Final Celebration and Awards Ceremony that last Saturday as well.


  1. Adult (25+) Mixed Epee: 1:00 PM (equipment check @ 12:30 PM)
  2. Veteran (40+) Mixed Epee: 4:30 PM (equipment check @ 4:00 PM)


Registration & Fees:


  1. $40 per event via askFRED (no walk-ins). 
  2. Each event capped at 21 fencers; registration filled in order of payment.
  3. Waitlist available for full events.
  4. Refunds available up to three days before the event starts. This will give people on the waitlist enough time to accept or decline their invitation to participate.
  5. If you are a no-show for one event, you cannot register for another event in this season’s RCFC SIgnature Series.


Series Points System:


  1. Participants will accumulate points, with the overall highest point total earning a place on the Signature Series trophy.

Extras:


  1. Meals and snacks available for purchase at the nearby Starbucks or food court
  2. Bring water bottles (refill station available)
  3. Armory assistance will be minimal so come with your own repair kit
  4. There is some room for bag storage, but please come with as small a bag as possible
  5. There is a single all-gender restroom and one all-gender changing room on site. The mall has more restrooms in the upper level near the food court.
