Unity Fencing Academy Opening Bash (Unsanctioned)

Unsanctioned Mixed Open Epee (Check in closes at 9:30 am)

Unsanctioned Y14 (Ages 9-14) Mixed Open Epee (Check in closes at 11:30 pm)

Unsanctioned Mixed Open Foil (Check in closes at 1:30 pm)

Unsanctioned Mixed Open Saber (Check in closes at 3:30 pm)

PLAN: Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event, we will plan to start on time. You will be expected to be warmed up.

PRE-REGRISTRATION: While we will allow fencers to join at the door, it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to pre-register for the events you plan on fencing. This will greatly help us organize.

OPENING: Doors will be open at 8:00 AM to start warm-ups.

ENTRY FEE: $10 Registration Fee and $5 per Event Fee, can be collected at location.

FORMAT: Pools into Direct Elimination

WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT CHECK: Standard gear check will be required for this event. This includes masks, gloves, body cords, and lames. Weapons will be checked on strip before bouts.

EXPECTED EQUIPMENT: As all events are unsanctioned, we will allow a small bit of leniency on gear, we will only require the following gear for each event (Gear can be borrowed for the event as well)

1. Epee: Mask, Glove, 1x Body Cord (3 Prong), 1x Epee, Fencing Jacket, any kind of long pants, plastron (under-arm protector), and full cover shoes.

1. Foil: Foil Mask (w/ Bib, Recommended but not Required), Glove, 1x Body Cord (2 Prong), 1x Foil, Fencing Jacket, Foil Lame, any kind of long pants, plastron (under-arm protector), and full cover shoes.

1. Plastic Chest Protection will be required for all female fencers and optional for male fencers

USFA MEMBERSHIP: Annual Access Memberships are $35 for the year and will be needed for this tournament if you need assist please ask one of the coaches we will help get your membership updated
