2024 TCFC October Challenges

This tournament is for beginner and intermediated level fencers to gain more tournament experience. Beginners might be able to borrow club electric equipment to compete. If the fencer needs to borrow fencing equipment, let Sasha know in advance.

Events Scheduled:

Unsanctioned Y12 mixed epee 9:00 AM moved to 10:30 AM

Sanctioned senior mixed foil: 10:00 AM

Sanctioned women's epee 10:30 AM

Sanctioned senior mixed saber: 12:00 PM

Unsanctioned Y12 mixed foil: 12:30 PM moved to 12:00 PM

Senior mixed epee: 2:00 PM move to 12:30 PM

Senior women's foil: 3:00 PM move to 1:30 PM

The starting time might be adjusted depending on how many fencers sign up. Sasha will email all the participants via Askfred if there are any changes.

Location: Twin Cities Fencing Club. The address is 655 Fairview Ave N, St Paul, MN 55104

The registration fee is $40 for the first event and extra $20 for an additional event.

For example, if you sign up for two events, you need to click THE AMOUNT TO 3 to pay $60.

USFA access or competitive membership is required for sanctioned senior mixed open for all three weapons and women's events. Fencer will need be born 2011 or earlier to attend any senior events Y12 mixed foil and epee don't require USFA membership. Here is the USA membership link:

Fully electric fencing equipment is required including fencing pants and long socks for sanctioned events. There is a weapon test before each bout. All USFA rules apply.
