Note This is a Old AskFRED event. Registrations and results are all correct, but some other data could be missing.
FCA OnPoint Series Tournaments are weapon rotating tournaments giving youth and Senior fencers more tournament experience and more fun. Cost to enter is $10/fencer. Every OnPoint Series tournament will feature events in one weapon mixed gender and combined age group of Y10 & Y12 (fencers must meet USFA age category to fence) and Senior (Age 13+). All fencers must have regulation gear and valid USFA Membership to participate.
You may renew or obtain new USFA membership at the tournament.
Our December tournament is also our semi-annual Novice tournament and Spaghetti Feed, novice fencers (fencers who are still in a beginning class, or who have fenced less than a year) do not need to be USFA membership. However, if you plan on fencing in an OnPoint event you will still need USFA membership.
All fencers competing in the OnPoint tournament MUST have full competition equipment (no sweat pants people). Those in the novice events are encouraged to either purchase their own gear or use club equipment. Though we may not have enough club equipment for all novice fencers competing, FCA novice fencers get first choice. Outside fencers are encouraged to bring their own equipment (AND TAKE IT HOME).
Cost for the tournament is $10/fencer, you can fence in as many events as you are eligible for (fencers who are beyond the novice level as determined by the bout committee will not be allowed to participate in novice events).
