RFC 3 Weapon Challenge

RFC 3 Weapon Challenge Events Scheduled: Y14 Mixed Epee Y14 Mixed Foil Y14 Mixed Saber Preregistration opens on 08/30/2017 Preregistration closes on 03/24/2018 This event is for saber, foil and epee fencers who are looking for competitive experience. Non-RFC fencers are always welcome! Please note that registration CLOSES at 12:30pm. FORMAT: One round of pools, followed by direct elimination rounds - 15-touch bouts/ three 3-minute periods; fence-off for third. Points for placing in these events will be awarded as follows: 1st place = 15 points 2nd place = 14 points 3rd place = 13 points etc. (If there are fewer than 16 participants, subtract 5 points for each place.) You can earn prizes and galaxy-wide bragging rights by compiling big point totals through the season. REGISTRATION IS $25.00 per competitor per competition. To be paid at the door. DATES AND TIMES FOR THE 2017-2018 SEASON* Check in ends at 12:30pm and fencing begins at 1pm. Please show up before the start time to make sure that registration is complete. All dates listed are Saturdays. We will be holding a Flower City Youth Cup in March and May that will replace the RFC Challenges. October 7 November 18 January 27 April 21 June 16 *Please note that these dates are subject to change as sometimes conflicts with dates may arise during the season.
