Tournament Update

Thank you for registering. Only the Cadet Mens Sabre will need to be fenced. This event is be scheduled to be start at 1 PM on Saturday, November 8th.

All the other registered fencers, in the other events, have all qualified due to the fact there were 3 or less registered for those events, and will not need to show up at the tournament.

----IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM USA FENCING PLEASE READ!-----

We, at USA Fencing, are reaching out to provide clarification regarding division qualifier competitions for the 2026 Junior Olympic Championships, specifically those scheduled after the regular entry fee deadline.

For division qualifiers held after the regular entry fee deadline of November 5, 2025 but before the qualification deadline of December 10, 2025, fencers who intend to attempt qualification through these competitions should register prior to the regular entry fee deadline to take advantage of standard pricing.

To ensure fairness and transparency in light of the shift in the Junior Olympics dates for this season, if a fencer fails to qualify at their respective division qualifier, provided it is held after the regular fee entry deadline and before the qualification deadline the following will be applicable:

- If registered for only one event, the event fee, the tournament, and administrative fees will be refunded. In the event this is applicable for a given athlete, they should email  nationalevents@usafencing.org to request a full refund

- If registered and qualified for other events, only the event fee for the non-qualified event will be refunded.

[Disclaimer] If you are ALREADY QUALIFIED, DO NOT FENCE. This gives us the greatest opportunity to qualify the most fencers. Fencers who have earned national points are the only athletes who may be skipped over. Athletes who have already qualified via a regional path may not be skipped over at any division qualifier. If you have reached 110 Regional Points on the Cadet or Junior REGIONAL points list, you are qualified for that event at Junior Olympics and will not be allowed to fence in the event for this tournament.

Age and Classification Eligibility:

Subject to the exceptions in Table 2.5.1 of the Athlete Handbook, fencers must be at least 13 years old on January 1 in the year of the competition. Fencers younger than that must, as of the regular fee entry deadline, be on the Y14 National Point Standings to be eligible for Cadet events or on the Cadet National Point Standings to be eligible for Junior events. There are no classification requirements. Fencers must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident representing the United States. Athletes that have represented another country in senior or junior events at FIE level competitions or at the Cadet World Championships in the last three years are not eligible to compete in the Junior Olympic Championships.
