This camp provides participants with an introduction/reinforcement of the basics in the Olympic sport of fencing; a brief history of the sport and rules and safety practices. It will challenge both body and mind, while encouraging a competitive spirit, discipline and good sportsmanship.


All participants are required to sign a Waiver, Release of Liability, and Hold harmless agreement. The waiver, which can be found here, must be returned by the first day of class.

PARTICIPANTS

Limit of 15 participants. Register early.


Participants should bring a light lunch snack and a (clearly marked) reusable water bottle. We have one (1) daily scheduled snack break time.

REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION

All fees for this camp are non-refundable and non-transferable and must be paid in full at the time of registration. If the Academy cancels the workshop, your pro-rata balance will be refunded or transferred to another session at your option.


LOCATION AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS

All classes are on-site at 5000 S. Indiana Avenue—Lower Level. Enter the premises through the side entrance from the adjacent parking lot. PLEASE NOTE: Parking is restricted to building residents. The rules prohibit the parking of any non-resident except any vehicle engaged in loading and unloading participants for the program. Motorists who ignore this restriction will be towed at the owner's expense. Ample street parking is available.
