Individual/Team High School Tournament

This is a high school event that will be both individual and team based. Participants must be currently attending a high school or be of high school age, if homeschooled. Individual fencers may register as unattached. All participants must demonstrate they are competitive members of the USFA. To renew your competitive membership, please visit the USA Fencing Membership web site here: http://usfencing.org/us-fencing-membership Teams consist of three fencers of the same gender representing the same school and must be identified through the registration process. Schools may have more than one team representing them. Each team member's final individual place will score points for their team. The team with the lowest total score is the winner. The format will be an individual tournament, starting with pools, and with 100% moving into a direct elimination. We will fence off for third and fourth place. Seeding will be based on USFA rating, then the fencer's high school league individual record (if applicable). The events will be conducted in the Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh High School Gym. Registration is $60 per team, or $25 per individual. Make checks payable to "Fencing Sports Academy International" Awards will be distributed for the first place team and for individuals finishing in 1st through 8th place.
