Date: Wednesday, March 15, 2023 Start Time: 4:00PM End Time: 9:00PM Cost: $75 per attendee. Come and take the course to be a USA Fencing Sanctioned Referee with one of the area's leading referee instructors and mentors. Bruce Gillman, a noted collegiate fencer, coach, instructor and referee, was named head coach of the men’s and women’s fencing teams at Vassar College in 2005. He teaches Fencing Fundamentals, Intermediate Fencing, and Independent Study courses focusing on Fencing Refereeing. This the official FOC Referee Training Course required for a USA Fencing Referee Rating. Only the course will be given on this date. Following the course students will be prepared to take the online referee test, and then get observed at a tournament so that they may become certified referees! This course is for all fencers and parents looking to become referees or learn more about the sport. Preregistration opens on 02/22/2023. Preregistration closes on 03/14/2023.
