MFA Friday night sanctioned epee

This is our return to monthly epee tournaments Friday evening at MFA. This is a SANCTIONED event (that is, you must fence in full regulation gear, you must be a competitive member of the USFA, and ratings are awarded). FORMAT ====== 5-touch pools, 100% promotion to DEs. EVENTS SCHEDULED: ================= Open Mixed Epee. Doors open at 6 PM, tournament starts at 7 PM. EVENT FEE: ========== $40, in advance, through AskFRED, or $50 payable at the door (cash or check, please; we cannot process credit card payments for tournament fees.) COVID protocols =============== All attendees - athletes, coaches, spectators, and staff - ages 12 and older will be required to present proof of vaccination completed at least 14 days prior to the event (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Novavax, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Covaxin, or CoronaVac) Attendees approved for a medical or religious exemption must provide their approval email received from the USA Fencing National Office, as well as a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. This includes everyone present at the venue. The PCR test result must be within 72 hours prior to arrival at the venue. All participants in USA Fencing sanctioned events, including coaches, athletes, spectators, and staff, MUST wear a facemask that covers their mouth and nose at all times, including during competition. Athletes are to salute opponent, referee, and spectators at the conclusion of the bout, but not shake hands. Preregistration opens on 03/10/2022. Preregistration closes at the end of the day on 04/28/2022.
