A fun FRFC member only tournament. Open to all members with electrical gear. Pre-registration required. All entries see the MORE INFO tab. One event per-fencer.
Fencers may only enter one age group event. Age groups are determined by usafencing and are based on age as of 1/1/24.
Fencers will need their own electrical fencing equipment, like they use for practice.
All events must be pre-entered NLT 10/19.
Upon arrival on 11/2 fencers should check themselves in. At check-in we will be inspecting mask and glove for safety, and epees for correct weight and shim. Fencers are responsible for their own warmup and stretch. Fencers should be ready to start 10 minutes after the close of check-in for their event.
Parents are encouraged to help with check-in as well as scoring and timekeeping. To volunteer, please speak to a coach. Information on competitions, seeding and scoring is available in the member handbook on the FRFC website. https://www.frontrangefencingclub.com/copy-of-member-handbook
There is no fee for this tournament.
Spectators are requested to stay in the normal green area. Spectators may bring a small folding lawn chair for seating. No seating is to be removed from any hall or classroom. Thank you. No food or drink (other than water) allowed in the gym.
On 11/2 fencers will fence the first round in a pool format in their age group, after which they will be seeded for the direct elimination tableau. Direct elimination (DE) bouts will be fencer on 11/9 using the same start time as pools.
On 11/9 no further equipment inspection is required. Fencers will simply check-in upon arrival, warm up and stretch, and be ready to start on time.
Any questions, or to volunteer, feel free to contact coach.
