Tetrathon (Modern Pentathlon minus swimming): Foil fencing, Obstacle, Pistol Run. We are modifying the fencing portion to be foil instead of epee this time. AAU Membership is required. Entry is free.

Obstacle is new to Modern Pentathlon. Modern Pentathlon is new to the Midwest.
*** Minimum age is 10 years old. Shooting competitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
*** Adult competitors must be AAU members in both AAU Fencing and AAU Target Shooting. Youth competitors need only be an AAU member in one sport. ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE AAU MEMBERS.
Obstacle: This is a timed race through an obstacle course. This could be held inside or outside depending upon weather.
Pistol Run: This is timed race run outdoors. You will run 5 loops through a cross country course stopping to shoot at a target during each loop. Shooting will be with airsoft pistols only.- You may bring your own pistol or you can use the range pistol.
Foil fencing will be a single pool only. It will be electric scored.
AAU membership is required. Get your AAU membership here: www.aausports.org. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO ORDER YOUR MEMBERSHIP. IT TAKES A FEW DAYS TO GO THROUGH.
Photography and Video: Both photos and video will be taken of some of the bouts. Some of those recordings may be posted on our website for you to watch later.

▪ All participants must have a current AAU membership.
▪ AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event.
▪ AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an internet connect. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site www.aausports.org to obtain their membership.
