Mountain Valley Summer Nationals Y14, U16, Jr Team Saber Qualifier Event Pre-registration is REQUIRED, and will close midnight on Thursday, May 1, 2008. There are no exceptions, as we will not host tournaments that have fewer than 4 fencers/teams. Fencers must be current members of the USFA at the time of preregistration close in order to fence the individual qualifier events. The USFA’s current membership listing for the Mountain Valley division is at: http://www.usfencing.org/usfa/content/view/1940/150/. Events with fewer than 4 fencers/teams will be cancelled and all fencers in those events will auto-qualify. Fencers will be notified Friday, May 2nd as to the status of their event. Cost for each event is $20 per fencer, but is waived if your event is cancelled. Saber events scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd are as follows: Check-In Close Time - Event Name WOMEN 11:30am – Cadet (U16) Women’s Saber 12:30pm - Y14 Women's Saber N/A (Auto-qualified) - Junior (U19) Team – Women’s Saber MEN 1:30pm – Cadet (U16) Men’s Saber 3:00pm - Y14 Men's Saber N/A (Auto-qualified) – Junior (U19) Team – Men’s Saber NOTE: TEAM EVENT REGISTRATION REMINDER – -- All members on a team must represent the same Mtn. Valley division club (i.e. no composite teams may enter the team qual event). -- Team members must not have represented another club during this season. [See the USFA Athlete's Handbook for full details] -- Clubs may enter multiple teams, but a club may only qualify at most 1 Junior team per event for Summer Nationals -- Your team's pre-registration must list all your team members by the pre-registration deadline. Incomplete teams as of the pre-registration deadline will be dropped from pre-registration. Teams will be seeded for events using the team members listed as of the pre-registration deadline. -- While your team will represent your club, it's not required that you use all or part of your club's name as the name of your team. Preregistration opens on 04/22/2008. Preregistration closes on 05/01/2008.
