United Fencing Academy (www.unitedfencingacademy.com) in cooperation with Los Angeles International Fencing Center (www.lafencing.com) organizing series of three tournament for Unrated (U) foil fencers. Events: Y8 --)------ 9:30am ------(-- mixed boys/girls Y10 --)-------- 11:30am -------(-- mixed boys/girls Y12 --)-------- 1:30pm -------(-- mixed boys/girls Age eligibility: Y 8 - 2007-2010 Y10 - 2005-2007 Y12 - 2003-2006 Dates: 1. November 08 - UFA, Woodland Hills. 2. January 10 - LAIFC, West LA. 3. May 29 - place TBD Classification: Every fencer who is registered with the USFA is either “unrated” or has earned a rating by competing in qualified, USFA-sanctioned events. Ratings go from A (best) to E, and U indicates an unrated fencer. So your child starts out with a U, as does every other USFA fencer. Competitive membership: United States Fencing Association (USFA) required competitive membership for current season 2015-16. Get or renew USFA membership here http://www.usfencing.org/page/show/698114-membership Medals and prizes: Top 8 fencers will be awarded medals at the end of each event. Overall champion will be awarded with fencing trophy and golden electrical competitive foil. Deadline ends 48 hours before the tournament day. At the door $45.00 dollars (extra fee could be collected if paying CC).
