FRED Announces the WWD Junior Olympic Qualifiers ------------------ Important Info: ------------------- Tournament: WWD Junior Olympic Qualifiers Dates: 12/14/2002 - 12/15/2002 Location: Rain City Fencing Center Cadet and Junior events are qualifiers for the Junior Olympic FencinfChampionships in Colorado Springs, CO in February, 2003. Allfencers who wish to fence at the JOs must qualify through this eventunless they have sufficient national points to auto-qualify. This tournament is only open to full USFA memebers of the WesternWashington division (no "Fence for Fun"). Fencers can join the USFA(or upgrade to full membership) at the event. Eligibility is baesd on birth year: Cadet events are birth years 1986-1989 Junior events are birth years 1983-1989 Entry fees are $5 registration plus $10 per event. A $5 late fee will be charged if you don't pre-register (seebelow) All events will be scored electrically. All USFA uniformrequirements must be met. Saber blades must bear the S2000 stamp ormeet the flexibility standards.
