Challenge yourself against top fencers from S. Korea and Nashville as the Hwaseong City Pro Team visits Nashville for competition and clinics in foil, epee, and saber.
Have you ever wondered how you might fare against top international fencers? Have you wanted to train with tactics, techniques, and methods that have developed in other countries and cultures? Your chance has finally arrived!
NEFC is proud to be joined for two clinics (10/21-10/22 and 10/28-10/29) and this tournament in Nashville, TN by members of the Hwaseong City Pro Team from South Korea. The team representatives include fencers from the U25 national team in foil, epee, and saber. Participating from the Pro Team and joining this exchange of fencing training, techniques, and tactics include fencers who have achieved top finishes in national competitions of South Korea such as Seungwoo Choi (1st place, 51st president’s cup, foil), Minwoo Pak (World Universiade Competition, 3rd place, epee), and Taeyoung Park (2022 World Youth Championship Team, saber). These outstanding fencers will also be joined by their Pro Team coaches including Dalsik Yang, Soonam Song, and Sungho Lee.
Due to the international licensing of the S. Korean fencers, the tournament will be run as an unsanctioned event.

Additional Information
For fencers participating in the 10/21-10/22 clinic, the tournament is the kick off event for the clinic, and it is hoped everyone for the clinic will arrive around 9:00AM even if fencing later. Please see separate pages for clinic day details and please register and pay for both the tournament and the clinic(s). Tournament Registration may be accepted at the door with cost for late registration $35 if space available.
