Please join us for the LAIFC RCC & Open 2016 in Region 4! First place winners from region 4 will receive 100 regional cadet points regardless of the size of the event. RCCs are opportunities to qualify for Junior Olympics 2017 and the July Challenge 2017. Regular fee registration has been extended to Oct. 12! SAT. Please allow time to park, car pool or drop off your fencers, remember to feed your parking meter and park legally as cars may be ticketed or towed. Payment must be made via Askfred.net. Registration is not complete until payment is made. The regular fee registration period ends at 11:59pm PST on 10/12/16. The double-fee registration period begins on 10/13/16 and ends at 11:59pm PST on 10/12/16. Triple fee registration ends 11:59pm PST on 10/14/16 Registration at door is triple fee plus $200. If you are listed as an “incomplete” registrant on FRED’s list, you are not registered and will be charged the walk-in event fee. 10/12/16 Regular Registration fee: $30 Regular Fee per Event: $40 Regular Fee per senior event: $15 10/13/16 Double-Fee Registration fee: $60 Double-Fee Fee per Event: $80 Senior event: $15 10/14/16 Triple-Fee Registration fee: $90 Triple-Fee Fee per Event: $120 Triple-Fee per Senior Event: $45 Registration at door: Triple + $200 Registration fees will not be refunded. There are no exceptions. Prior to 10/10/16, 100% of the event fee will be refunded if the bout committee is contacted with a refund request. After there will be no refunds of the event fee. Please make your registrations early to avoid complications. All refund requests will be responded to after the conclusion of the tournament. Seeding: Cadets: National Cadet Rolling Points, then classification/year. Fencers with equal classifications will be randomized within each classification. Only ratings and points standings listed on the USA Fencing website will be used (ratings on FRED at not official). It is the fencer's responsibility to ensure that USA Fencing has properly recorded any necessary changes or corrections prior to this date. No classification or affiliation changes will be made at the event. It is the fencer’s responsibility to notify the Bout Committee of any registration discrepancies before the close of check-in for the event. (I.e. wrong club, wrong rating, misspelled name, etc.) Eligibility Information: Fencers competing must be current competitive members of the US Fencing Association, registered with the USFA. If you wish to renew your memberships at the event, please download and bring a completed membership form. If you renew or join online but have not received a card or your name is not on the website, please bring an email confirmation from the USA Fencing that you are a current member. If you do not show proof of current membership, you will be asked to complete a new form and pay for membership at the door. NO EXCEPTIONS! Eligibility is based on birth year, regardless of the specific day/month: Cadet: Born in 2000 - 2003 Or on the Y14 NRPL Senior: Born 2003 or earlier, or on the Jr NRPL Fencers with Youth-14 National points are eligible to fence in Cadet events. Fencers with Junior National points are eligible to fence in Senior events. This includes the mandatory use of knickers, long socks, and underarm protectors. Names are NOT required to be on the uniform. The Armory Equipment Check will test the mask, lame (as appropriate), sabre cuffs, head cords, and body cords. Items that have passed inspection will be specially marked, and directors will be checking for these marks prior to the start of fencing. Full Armory Equipment Check is required for all competitors, with no exceptions. Fencers only need to have their equipment passed once for the duration of the RCC. Please note that event times listed are the close of registration. Fencers are required to be checked in by this time. Fencing will typically begin shortly after registration closes. It is recommended to leave yourself ample time for travel, check-in, and equipment check prior to the close of registration of your events. Fencers must check-in each day by close of registration of their event that day. Fencers are only permitted to fence in one event per day. Exceptions to this rule are at the discretion of the Bout Committee and Tournament Organizers. Important tournament information will be communicated through the FRED e-mail system.
